Script for Auto-proxy URL RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Everybody,

I am looking for a script to configure proxy selection automatically in Internet Options.

I would like this script running in my open session script.

At the moment,  I type manually the URL for the automatic proxy script  in the Auto-proxy URL  box. My url is like "http:/......proxy.pac"

Soory for my English, I improve it a little bit each day !

    Thanks for your help,

    Tito (French rooky)

This can be added via a GPO setting:

    https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/askie/2015/07/17/how-can-i-configure-proxy-autoconfigurl-setting-using-group-policy-preference-gpp/

Or if you have to use a script then create a .bat file with a syntax like below:

    reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings" /v AutoConfigURL /t REG_SZ /d <path to .pac>
