  • Insufficient system resources' error is originating from the Microsoft Exchange server due to the server either running out of disk space or free memory.

    Increase disk space and/or RAM.

How many size of hard disk and ram?

  • Hi

This can be related with powershell application pool. Please open IIS and recycle the MSExchangePowerShellAppPool and MSExchangePowerShellFrontEndAppPool

  • Hi,

Do you see events like 15004, 15005 in event viewer?

Also make sure that antivirus is not scanning your exchange server and put a exclusion on Exchange files and process.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/antispam-and-antimalware/windows-antivirus-software?view=exchserver-2019

Please have a look on below for performance related counters.

    https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/samdrey/2015/01/26/exchange-2013-performance-counters-and-their-thresholds/

Also sometimes such issue resolve by changing queue database path.

  • Hi,

Did you checked other points which I mentioned?

    Specially antivirus exclusions.

Do a monitor on counters as well.

  • Hi,

Agree with Ashish, and please provide more detailed information about Event ID 15004 and 15005, so that we can give more appropriate suggestions.

Additionally, this issue and these event IDs could be the action taken by the back pressure.

Since you have sufficient resources and the number of messages in the Submission queue is monitored by back pressure, please run the following command to check if there are some messages blocked in the queue. You can also use queue viewer to verify.

    get-queue | fl
