CD/DVD Drive displaying as different drive RRS feed

    Hi,

    I am using windows 7 in my laptop. Recently CD/DVD drive displaying as Different drive. Normally it will display as single drive in all machine.

    I have recently installed partition magic in my machine. Now i have removed and rebooted the machine, but still it's displaying the same.

    Ex.:  It displaying CD drive as D: and DVD drive as F: I hope it's abnormal.

    Kindly help on this.

    Hi Jayaram,

     

    I recommend you try the System Restore to the time point that the CD/DVD drive works fine.
