SCOM 1801: Some alerts are not shown in Operations Manager Console

    Question

  • Hi,

although we get alerts notifications from Management Servers, for some alerts there are no records on tghe Operations Console under "MONITORING > Active Alerts" or > "Closed Alerts".

    It is very strange.

    Any idea?

    Best regards

    Birdal

  • Hi Birdal,

What alerts are we talking about here? Heartbeat failure?

    Cheers

  • What kind of alerts you re missing?
"MONITORING > Active Alerts" : Alerts with resolution state not equal to 255
"Closed Alerts": This is not a default view. usually it is show an alert with resolution state 255
In principle, all alerts will be seen on either Active Alerts or Closed alerts view. Besides, make sure the monitor enable alert generation when its status.
