Conference Room Calendar in Public Folders RRS feed

  • Question

  •  I have a conference room mail box. People use the resources to book the room and it gives them a yea/nay. They can also open the Conference room calendar (everyone has read/write permissions). I now need to put the calendar in the public folders area. Frankly. I should know how to do that but can not remember.

BTW, this is moving a current calendar not creating a new one.

    I have Exchange 2003 running with Outlook 2007 in a 2003 AD.

    TIA

So what you want to do is to move calendar from room mailbox to a public calendar folder, right? Please correct me if I've misunderstood the question

If that’s the case, please see Share information with public folders. We can add public folder to Favorite, so the folder will show at room mailbox’s Calendar pane. And we need to grant the necessary permissions on the public folder for the user account who does this task by using ESM

  • Yes you are right. The current room calendar works well but people would also like it in the public folders area.
