    Hi,

I just want to double check or double confirm.

If a client pc cought a virus while steadystate protection is on and the user profile is lcoked, will it remove the virus upon restart?

i ask this because there is an issue, when the steady state protection was on and user call up windows live messenger, even after restart the windows live pop up upon windows load. and this was not the state where we first lock the disc.

Any comment will be very appreicate it.

    thanks

  • Hi kuang1,

Yes, whatever the virus has done and the infected files or the virus added in the system while disk protection is enabled..it should be trash/discard.

Does "Do not store user names or passwords used to log on to Windows Live ID (requires restart of the computer)" is unchecked? See "security settngs" in SteadyState to determine if this option is selected or not.
