How to calculate Version in the formula of the Calculate field in SharePoint 2007 ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I want to have a calculate field in a document library. I have created and its formula as following:

    =IF(ISNUMBER(FIND(".0",[Version])),"Published","Draft")

After creating, back to document and upload a new file. It calculated not correct. But when I go to calculate field to modify its formula, I see it hasn't contained [] at Version, I put it around for Version again, and I back to the it runs correctly. However, I continue try to upload a new document, it runs not correct and go to check formula then see no [] around Version field.

Everyone know this problem please help me. How to use Version field (the field that SharePoint managed) in the formula of calculate field.

    Thanks so much!

  • Yes, I think you're right. But it has a strange is no error occur although I type Version in the formular of Calculate field. Could you be able to give some directions about what events I need to handle to manipulate for this?

    Thank you very much!
