mshflxgd only displays 2048 rows on win7 machine RRS feed

  • Question

  • background:

app originally created with vb6 for win2000 os

vb6 project converted using vs 2005

application was built (vs2005) and used on both win2k and win xp system and displays all records in an mshflxgd

i have been tasked with testing the application prior to win7 client deployment.

my issue is now the appl will on display the first 2048 rows of data in the data grid.

are there any known issues with the mshflxgd and win7?

    thanks,

    Kirk

  • Might be something you could take up directly with Microsoft...  According to the following page, the Visual Basic team is touting an "It just works" philosophy for supporting VB6 apps in Windows 7...

    Best of luck.

  • Noel,

thanks for taking the time to respond.

however the application is no longer vb6 but has been converted to vs2005 (vb) and then recompiled. the current code works on xp but does not in win7.

has anyone else experienced this type of behavior with an mshflxgd on win7?

    thanks

  • Hi,

This can be the Visual Studio compatibility issue. You can contact Visual Studio support for direct assistance. Here is the detailed information:
