Question

DNS not updating for Reverse Pointer - DHCP runing on windows 2003 and DC &DNS runing on windows 2008R2
We have 4 site and only one site had affected with this which is having 2003 DHCP server.
Rest of the 3 Sites are runing on windows2008R2 DHCP with 2008R2 DNS & DC
All 4 site runing in single forest.
Please help here and suggest the recommendation.

Please verify if, Dynamically updates DNS A and PTR records only if requested by the DHCP clients is checked. If your answer is Yes, then change it to Always dynamically update dns A and ptr records.

Is there any event log error related to DNS update on DHCP server? How exactly you configured DHCP to Update DNS records? Credentials or DnsProxyUpdate group?
