I need help creating a template on microsoft word 2010 please! RRS feed

  • Question

  • My company has a standard template that we all use to keep track of things.

There are three columns on one page.

We would like for all three columns to move down at the same time when we hit "enter", but we are having a difficult time figuring this out.

    Can we anyone help?

    thank you

  • First, "template" in Word jargon probably has a different meaning from the way you are using the Word. See Templates in Microsoft Word. This means any web search you perform is going to give you no help.

You may want to create a template that has a three-column table. Instead of hitting Enter, hit Tab. This will move to the next column except when you are in the last row, when it will create a new row and move you to the first column in that row.
