BSOD Issues, multiple dmp files RRS feed

  • Question

  • It appears to be a handful of repeating errors like System service exception or something irql/kernel related. I thought it was graphics card related but I'm not really sure, reinstalled windows and the graphics drivers repeatedly + sfc dism and chkdsk so I don't know if it's hardware damage or I'm looking in the wrong areas.

I have 3 mini dmp files here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pxon5bizzf0f43z/dmps.zip?dl=0

  • Hi,
A few issues were found through the blue screen file you uploaded.

    UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (7f) 0x00000008

    IMAGE_NAME:  ntkrnlmp.exe

    Please check the hotfix below.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/842465/stop-7f-0x00000008-double-fault-error-occurs-because-of-a-single-bit-e

Then it seems that you install the DiscordPTB.exe. Please disable AV and uninstall it to check.
If the issue still insists, please download your motherland driver and BIOS driver to update from the official website of the manufacturer.
    Regards,

  • Hello,

    1) Could you please tell me how long do you use Malwarebytes?
    2) Do you have full kernel dump (C:\Windows\Memory.dmp)?

    3) Please, provide a log of the third-party anti-virus utility FRST according to the following instruction:
    - Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tooland save it on the desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system (32 bit or 64 bit). If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

        • Run the program by double-clicking. When the program starts, click Yes to agree with a warning.
        • Ensure that Optional Scan is checked "List BCD" , "Driver MD5" and"Addition.txt".

        • Press Scanbutton to run the tool...
        • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.
      • The tool will also make a log named (Addition.txt).
      • Please attach it in the following message as a link to downloading from the file storage (e.g. onedrive).

    Avis de non-responsabilité:
Mon opinion ne peut pas coïncider avec la position officielle de Microsoft.

    Bien cordialement, Andrei ...

  • I've been using malwarebytes for a couple weeks now, have to reinstall it every time I refresh windows though. I have only reset windows while keeping my files, so I wouldn't know if it's something that just gets carried over because I'm not starting fresh. While running those things, I crashed again so I included a second memory.dmp for you to see since it's another one I was able to include, along with the first memory.dmp and the two frst/addition logs.

A third crash happened during use, dump here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fg7rv69ufufk24r/MEMORY3.DMP?dl=0

  • While following these fixes, I had more crashes and did not notice my RAM settings in bios were higher than they should be. When I reset those things the problems have seemed to disappear, so it was the fault of that most likely. Thank you for work and analysis, it helped a lot!
