  • Hi,

    I have UAG directaccess working and have recently enabled OTP, to do this i needed to deploy the DCA.

    for most clients this has worked ok. but changes to the configuration at UAG side such as changes to the help portal or changes to the test resources (used to verify connectivity) take a long time to synchronise to the clients that have the DCA installed. Some clients that had DCA installed but had been offline when the OTP was turned on, have not yet updated so do not ask for the OTP credentials and therfore cannot get intranet access. they can still ping the managment servers though.

    How are the DCA settings replicated from the server to the client, and is there some way of forcing this?

  • They are set by GPO. If you do a gpupdate /force they should pull the new settings. I have noticed a very similar situation in our environment. Only way to get it to work correctly was to gupdate /force and reboot.
