error code 0x80070005. Access is denied RRS feed

  • Hi,
    After installing a new application, I got a big problem with Server Manager.
    I get error messages of this kind "... error code 0x80070005. Access is denied." everytime I try to add or remove roles and features in Server Manager.

    I think the new application removed some permissions... but I don't know how to solve this issue.

    Some details:
    - I'm working as Administrator (and I removed the UAC check from the account profile),
    - The operating system I'm using is Windows Server 2008 Enterprise SP1

    What application have you installed?

     

    Please open Event Viewer to check if there is any detailed error message. Then, you can troubleshoot according those information.
