Win 7 Home Upgrade Anytime to Win 7 Pro and C: HD Crashes and Gets Replaced

Question
-
I'll recap:
- OEM Win 7 Home Premium
- Purchase Win 7 Pro through Windows Anytime Upgrade. I did receive a confirmation email.
- Runs OK for a long time before Win 10 was available
- My C drive dies and I lose all my data and emails
- Replace the C drive with new and install OEM Win 7 Home Premium. I have the Key.
- After recovery of all and reinstallation of all my programs, I checked my backup drive and found Win 7 Pro image there.
- It installed on C OK. I also believe I have it's Key, but can't change it. I accidently inserted the Prod. ID instead of the Key code.
- Now my Win 7 Pro works just fine but will not let any version of Win 10 install because it fails the Activation step.
- I have an ISO copy of Win 10 and Win 10 Pro that I downloaded prior to 07/29/2016
How can I proceed and upgrade to Win 10? I've been trying this since June.

Hi,
Please know that the free upgrade can only be done before 7.29, that's not mean the downloaded date of Windows 10 image.
That's why you cannot get the upgrade work.

The one year free upgrade offer expired on the 29th of July.
If you try the phone activation option and explain your problems they may activate it for you.

Bill,
Thanks for your reply. The only phone activation numbers I found applied to OEM column licensing.
My Win 7 Pro Upgrade was completed through Microsoft and I'm just a single customer.
