Windows 7, Matlab, Compatibility RRS feed

  • Question

  • I managed to instal Matlab 7.0 into Windows 7 by switching the windows theme to 'Windows classic". However, I have problem with the Metlab Editor/Debagger. The screen turns black and the proggam asks for 'emacs', even though I have set in the "Preferences' the Matlab Editor/ Debagger as the desired editor to handle M-Files. I also have the right java version.

    Any suggestion? Thank you.

  • Regarding the software manufacturer, Mathlab is only supported on Windows 7 when using  version 7.4 or higher.

You should always check requirements first before you install software!
