Incident Resolver Role not able to Link Incident to existing Problem Record RRS feed

  • Hi All

    I am having a problem where users in the Incident Resolver Role are not able to link incidents (singular or multiple) to an already existing problem record by using the "Link Problem" button in the incident view. when trying to do this they get an error message after selecting the problem that the wish to link the incident to. The error reads.

    There was an error running the task. Please try again later.

    I do not want to give these users the full Problem Analyst role.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Based on the User Role Profiles the following role members are able to add the relationship "WorkItemRelatesToWorkItem > WorkItem" for Problem Records: Advanced Operator, Author, Problem Analyst, Workflow and Administrators

  • If you add the user to the Problem Analyst role it works?
