  • Hi trandao112

Without being able to test, this is potentially a number of different causes.

    1. Network (DNS/ physical outage)

The client looks for the DC in DNS (SRV records) if it cannot connect to the DNS server then a message similar to this will be given

The reason for the lack of connection could be server offline (DNS or DC or both)

A physical disconnect - (are all the clients on one subnet / site?)

    2. At the client, The username could be wrong or the domain name entered could be wrong.

There are many potential issues that could result int his message.

Best to check the IP setup of the client - is it pointing at the correct DNS server (do you use DHCP)

Check these and come back to me , for more

    Yours

    Ed

  • Hi trandao112,

    Thanks for your post.

In addition, could your please event log? Is there any other error?

Does it happen to all clients? And if change another user log on, what's the result.

Could your please reset the problematic computer account to check if it works. You can do this by dis-joining and re-joining the client to the domain or through AD Users & Computers -> find the computer account -> right-click -> Choose reset.

    Best Regards,

    Mary Dong
