Lync 2010 Delegates Receiving Voicemails RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I have an issue where one of my set delegates receive my voicemail.

I have set Lync up as the folliwing:

Call forwarding set to simultaneously ring my delegates.

"Calls will ring you at work (my number) and also ring your delegates: Person 1, Person 2 etc...

Unanswered calls will go to: Voicemail in 20 seconds

    These settings will apply: Apply

I can't see anything that would suggest a colleague receiving my voicemails.

    Any ideas?

    Regards,

    Scott

  • A delegate is a person with permission to make and receive calls and messages on behalf of another. Delegation not only routes incoming calls to multiple phones, but delegates can be given access to voice mail and missed call messages. This is done in Outlook as delegate access.

Take a look at Outlook to see if this is the culprit.
