How to Remove a WMI Filter Froma a GPO RRS feed

  • Question

  • Let's say, I have a GPO named "TestGPO". I also have a WMI Filter name "TestWMI". From the GPMC console, I see that the WMI Filter -- TestWMI -- is linked/applied to the "TestGPO".

I wish to have a Powershell script (or VBScript) which, when executed, will first check and then Remove/Unlink the WMI Filter from the GPO. The GPO and the WMI Filter -- both will not be deleted.

    Requesting your assistance.
