  • Question

  • Hello would greatly appreciate learning how I can 'locate' the VBS file from C:\Documents and Settings\(username)>

    I did the following:

    1-- OPEN NOTEPAD

    2-- COPY PASTE  (I didn't copy paste the below b/c this is 'not an option', instead I typed the below commands)

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER = &H80000001

    strComputer = "."
    Set objReg = GetObject("winmgmts:\\" & strComputer & "\root\default:StdRegProv")
    strKeyPath = "Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\SafeMode\Components"
    strValue = "0"
    ValueName = "DeskHtmlVersion"
    objReg.SetDWORDValue HKEY_CURRENT_USER, strKeyPath, ValueName, strValue

    3-- SAVE AS SHAILENDRA GENIOUS.VBS

    4-- DOUBLE CLICK THE VBS FILE (HOW DO I LOCATE/ GO TO THE VBS FILE THAT I SAVED? FROM THE C:\Documents and Settings\(username)>

    5-- REFRESH DESKTOP AND TADA ACTIVE DESKTOP GONE FISHING........  :-)

    I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE I'M FAIRLY PC ILLITERATE AND WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP :)  Thank you for your time.
