  • hi 

    I am trying to install the fresh copy of the performance point server on windows -7

    but, I am not able to do and it is asking for the windows server 2003

    is it possible to install the PPS on windows-7?

    if it is possible, please let me know the process of installing it.

  • Hello,

    For PerformancePoint Server, you will need a server based operating system.  You can find the prerequisites here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb838753(office.12).aspx

    Once you get PerformancePoint Server installed on your server, you will be able to use the Dashboard Designer (client piece) on your Windows 7 machine to build your dashboards.
