PowerShell Function form RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Techies,

I have created a form using PowerShell script which contain credentials on top and at the bottom contains other components. now the credentials and other functions in the form is working as expected. now the issue is when i enter the credentials and hit enter, the window (form) get closed, however login is successful, now my query is, i don't want the form to get closed once credentials are entered and login is successful. can we achieve it by either popping up another window or display a message at bottom that login is successful and can continue based on login authentication to the bottom contents.

    Please suggest.

    regards
    Vinay

  • If you are going to be doing alot with PowerShell and Windows Forms may I suggest getting Sapien PowerShell Studio. It takes out movst of the misc coding and does it for you. Like going from VB script to VB 6 application creation. Pretty simple if you know PS..

  • There is absolutely no way to answer your question.  You are just making a lot of vague statements and hoping someone can guess.

Start by learning basic PowerShell.  There is no way you can use forms without a good understanding of PowerShell.  You very bad question tells us that you have not learned the basics of PowerShell.
