Unable to book meeting room RRS feed

  • Hi,

    When I schedule a meeting room, the meeting does not show up in the meeting room schedule and don't get the usual message "resources booked successfully".

    Can anyboby help on this.

    Office Client: MS 2010
    Exchange Server: MS 2007

    Tried these steps, but no help:

  • Hi,

    To narrow down the issue, please try the following changes:

    1. You can try to book other meeting rooms to check whether the issue happens to a specific room mailbox.

    2. Ask your colleagues to send test meeting request to this room mailbox to check if just you can’t book this room.

    3. Please run the following command in Exchange 2007 to check this specific room mailbox configurations:

         Get-MailboxCalendarSettings -Identity "Room A" | FL

    Outlook 2010/2013 and Direct Booking is really not a good combination. Outlook 2010 might work with the registry setting in KB982774, but Outlook 2013 will not.

    The best that can be done is to stop using it and instead go for Room Mailboxes.
