List of connections to mailboxes RRS feed

  • Question

  • In Exchange Manager 2003 you can list all mailboxes,  and connections.

How to access the same active list of connections in Exchange manager 2008?

  • Hi

I tried the command, however it doesn't display who is connected to which mailbox.

As an administrator, I need to know who is accessing which mailbox, which was possible in 2003.

You can get that information with Get-Logonstatistics.

    Example:

    Get-LogonStatistics -Server exchange01 | ft Username,Windows2000Account,LastAccessTime

..but I do agree that it was easier to get this kind of information in ESM.

  • Hi,
It's not possible to see the same information in Exchange 2007/2010 Managment Console, but you can get some of the information using the cmdlet Get-LogonStatistics.

    Get-LogonStatistics

Can you advise if it possible to close a connection , like you could do in ESM 2003?

    Get-LogonStatistics -Server exchange01 | ft Username,Windows2000Account,LastAccessTime > c:\temp\connections.txt
