  • Some of our external clients upgraded with Microsoft Teams, We can no longer collaborate with them, We would like to know if it is still possible to colloborate from Skype for Business 2015 to Microsoft Teams or do we need to upgrade.

    We only have Skype OnPrem 2015

    Besides, you can also upgrade your Skype for Business 2015 on-premise to Teams by following these steps:

    1. Deploy hybrid connectivity for upgrading your users to Teams.
    2. move your users to Office 365.

    As an organization with Skype for Business starts to adopt Teams, administrators can manage the user experience in their organization using the concept of coexistence "mode" which is a property of TeamsUpgradePolicy. Using mode, administrators manage interop and migration as they manage the transition from Skype for Business to Teams. The following document shows different coexistence modes:
