Update on NAP-NAC? RRS feed

EAP-FAST will be distributed by Windows Update,  but I don't know exactly
what date it will be made available. There is an EAP certification program that
must be completed. If you are looking for an early release, I think it is
necessary to contact Cisco and request the beta. Others may have more
    information.

I was wondering if you had any more current information on when EAP-FAST will be available via Windows Update?

I notice that Cisco has their version of the documentation out for public consumption now but they simply state how to install the module, not where to get it from.

  • Hi,

I believe there will be a blog post about this soon, but here's a summary:

After creating the following registry key, an Encryption Control Protocol (ECP) device detection will occur. The ECP device will install silently, and on the next check for automatic updates EAP-FAST (ECP) will be offered as an optional download.

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EapHost\ECP\1.43.0.0.18867]
