  • hello

often look and feel resources like images and css are stored on site collection level in Style library list. So if you restored your site into another site collection probably you didn't copy images and css from previous site collection into new one.

I recommend you to open your site in Firefox with Firebug. Enable Net panel in FIrebug and see are there any sub requests to images and css which are shown in red - it means that these resources were not found. You should identify all those resources and add them on target site collection.

  • Hi Vyankatesh Mujumdar,

Version is not the problem here. As sadomovalex said just open your site in browser and check the CSS class reference or images.

You can also use the SPD to override your CSS, open your master page and check the CSS class. Just press "CTRL+ mouse click" on any CSS class file. Modify anything and save it. It will add one replicate of CSS file in "Style Library" folder. Use this CSS only.

    Let me know your result

  • Hi,

I think, it might be a problem with your master page or CSS, which is not restored successfully.

    1. Try to apply your default master page through designer in new site.

    2. If there is any custom CSS then apply that CSS on new site also.

Check above points and let me know your result

  • I had checked both.

I tried to apply default master page but issue is remains same.

I had not applied any CSS to my site.

the versions of my previous site is 12.0.0.6421

and new site version is  12.0.0.6545

But this should not affect the display of site.
