Hide table from end user after merge query RRS feed

  • Hi Guys,

    I have table1 and table2; I updated table1 with merge table 2 columns .

    Now I don't want to show table2 to end user;

    How can I hide table2 from end user

  • Hi Navin.D. In the "Load To" dialog, ensure that you also uncheck the "Add this data to the Data Model" checkbox (in addition to selecting the "Only Create Connection" radio button).

  • Hi Navin,
    You can use the Load To option to change the load of each query, and in you case to "switch off" the query table that was generated as the output of the second query. To do so, open the Workbook Queries pane, right click on the query that you used for table2, then click Load To in the menu. When the Load To dialog appears, uncheck the Load to worksheet option and click OK.

  • It still appear in power view fields list; i want it to be disappeared from field list too; the option which you mentioned just hide the data.
