trying to rollback users - entering following cmd in PS
Invoke-CsUcsRollback -Identity user@contoso.com
Getting the following error;
Invoke-CsUcsRollback : Failed to roll back the user from unified contact store mode because the contact list export from Exchange failed. Contact list export from Exchange failed with exception:
System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: The application is missing a linked account for RBAC roles, or the linked account has no RBAC role assignments, or the calling users account is logon disabled.
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, BooleanasyncCall)any suggestions

Please run the following command to check if the linkedaccount has been deleted. If it is deleted, create it by the following link:

Hi,
Are you planning to roll back all the users or only few? do you get this error with other users as well ? Looks like specific to this account

To this issue, we suggest you disable this SFB account and re-enable it to check if the issue persist. Or use another SFB admin account to have a test.

Thanks for reply The reason for doing this is to move the users to office365 without loosing their contacts I have tried other users and same error. I will try moving under another CSAdministrator account Thanks everyoneFriday, February 17, 2017 7:35 AM

I tried with another SFB admin account and tried disabling/enabling the user - still get the same error.
I have raised a call with Microsoft 365 team to see if they can assist.

Have lodged a ticket with Microsoft
Office365 Team unable to assist, suggested using the -Force switch, but this would loose the users contacts in skype.
will update the post once i know more.
