Start Menu - All Programs RRS feed

  • Question

  • I need some help on this.

When I logged in my computer yesterday, every thing was fine. I would click on Start/All Programs and all the default programs were there. I ran some registry scans and uninstalled some software. The next thing I know I click on Start/All Programs, my entire download folder was listed. One of the folders within the downloads is a folder called Programs. When I opened the Programs folder, my default Start programs were all there.

My question is how do I get rid of the download shortcuts and bring back the default Start programs?  Did I uninstall something by accident? How did this happen? I'm not that knowledgeable in the IT area.

    Please advise.

  • Hi,

Have you ever backed up registry? If you have, import this backup to fix regitry issue.

Or please attempt to make a system restore to an earlier working point.
