    1. One  server license, either Standard or Enterprise depending on your high availability needs.

1A - Server Standard (enterprise is gone).

1B - Depends on the features you want.  Standard license for IM/content sharing/video, Enterprise for Conferencing, Voice for PBX/voice..

1C & 1D are the same.  Yes, you always need Windows CALs when users are accessing a windows server.  This is typically purchased Per User and done once per user in your organization.

  • Hi Junkie,

In addition to above suggestions, you could phone to our global customer service by the following link to consult about license:

  • Hi,

SFB server is licensed in a single edition for all deployment types.

SFB Server offers different levels of functionality with corresponding CALs. The instant messaging and presence integration functionality is linked to a Standard CAL assigned to a user or device.

If audio, video and web conferencing is required, the purchase of an Enterprise CAL is required in addition to the Standard CAL.

SFB Server has an infrastructure requirement for Windows Server and SQL Server.

Users must be licensed for products used in the underlying infrastructure with the relevant licenses(wind serv + CALs + SQL serv + CALs or SQL per core licenses).

    thanks
