Meeting Logo URL RRS feed

  • Question

  • Greetings,

I works as UC Engineer for Microsoft Partner and i have deployed skype for business 2015 for one of our customers.

    The customer requested the below:

1- add logo for new meeting request.

2- If wanted to change the logo, how this can be done? do we need to publish the topology again?

i tried to follow this link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lyncserver/lync-server-2013-configuring-the-meeting-invitation

but its not mentioned where to put the logo in order to get logo URL. as i understand it should be stored in IIS but it's not clear to me how i can do this.

    Please advise.

    Regards,

    KHALED EL GAZZAR

  • Hi,

To add a company logo under "Logo URL", please enter the URL where your logo is stored from a public web server (It must be in JPG format). This could be added through SFB control panel as below.

Also, you could add it via SFB Mgmt shell. More details you could find under this link:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lyncserver/lync-server-2013-configuring-the-meeting-invitation

If you want to change the logo, just change the URL to a new one through powershell or control panel.

Ps. Regarding how to create an image URL, you could refer to the following method.

Once you have named and saved the file, post it to a public Web server (an http site, not a secure https site).

Next, enter the full URL, including the http:// prefix, into the main-image-url field of your upload template. This URL must link directly to the image, not to the directory in which the image is stored.
