  •  My Laptop accidentally  turned off while installing windows 10 technical preview.I turned it on and its showing setup is preparing .I left it for 24 hours and nothing on the screen changed...What should I do

    If you perform an upgrade, then the issue would  occur during migration. This is mostly caused by the driver compatibility issue.

    To get rid of this problem, you can perform a clean install of 9879 build:

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview-iso-update?os=win10

    When the download is complete, transfer the ISO file to installation media such as a USB flash drive or DVD to perform installation.

  • Are you installing from DVD or usb ?

    Did you have a previous version of Windows installed ?

    If it is stuck, trying powering down (hold power press to ensure a full switch off) Start up again to see if it progresses.
