how can I get a MOSS list to display more rows than default behavior? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We're running MOSS.

When I have a list open in a browser that's not maximized sharepoint is deciding how many rows to display depending on the height of the window.  There's plenty of room to display more rows (and I have the Item Limit set to "Display all items").

I want to display all rows regardless of the height of the window and whether I'll need to scroll down vertically to see the horizontal scroll bar.

Thanks in advance for any help

  • Hi Christian,

What version of MOSS are you working with? SharePoint doesn't use hight of the browser window in order to decide how many rows of data will be displayed, at least not that I've seen so far. It's configured in the view based on various factors; i.e. number of items to show, filter, folder, etc.

Can you provide more details on the list and/or the view?

How many items do you have in the list so far and how many are being displayed?

Can you re-produce this issue on any other lists/sites?

Can you re-produce this issue from different computers? What browser are you using?

  • Hi Christian.Bahnsen,

To change / modify rows display you can change the web part for the datasheet view from SPD.
