Override to disable F drive free space monitoring for Domain Controllers only RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

The F drive on the domain controllers is used for collecting backup.  Windows backup will fill the drive with as many backups as it can, however once the drive gets full on the next backup windows backup will delete the oldest so that it has space to do the next backup.

Please disable F drive free space monitoring for Domain Controllers only.

So how to we create an override monitor to disable F drive only ?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

In Authoring, Group - create a group with your domain controllers. Remember to save into a new Management Pack

When you get the alert again, right click the alert, Overrides, Override the Monitor, For a group and select the group just created, and disable

Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

  • Hello,

You may create a group which include F drive for Domain controllers. And then disable the monitor for that group.
