FIM Portal and FIM Password Portal may be on the same server? RRS feed

  • Hi everyone,

    I would like to ask if it is possible deploy both portals on the same server. is it advisable?

  • Yes it is possible.

    Of course if you will want to have them working both on default ports then you will need different names of the server (and configure on IIS so each site is responding on its assigned name).

  • Sure, you can put them both on the same server. If you only have one server, then keep in mind if that server goes down you lose access to both registration and reset portals. If you have a NLB situation with 2 (or more servers), then sure stick'em on both for HA.
