Group Policy Error

    Question

  • Can someone please help me to address the below error.

The computer 'shutdown test' preference item in the 'Auto Shutdown {3D05C8E5-67BC-43BA-9217-58FD510C2D86}' Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070005 Access is denied.' This error was suppressed.

What settings are in this object? Especially check the "common" tab and
the "run in logged in user's security context" option.

Okay, this is expected since you used computer configuration :)

I'm a bit out of luck in explaining what happens exactly, so I'd suggest
to enable Scheduled Tasks preference Debug logging and check the log file:

Enable and set Log level to "Info, Warnings and errors".
