    Hi.

    Having a bit of a problem that I hope someone can answer for me.

    We are using System Center 2012 R2 - SCVMM and app controller.

    Yesterday I connected our App Controller to Azure for the first time but found a Strange problem.

    As a member of the Azure admins role, I have access to stop or delete a vmm on Azure but the start button is dimmed.

    Can anyone tell me what to do to be able to start a vmm on Azure?

    Hope someone can help.

    Hi Jens,

    I believe this note in the release notes applies to you:

    Start button not enabled for a virtual machine in the Stopped (deallocated) state

    Description: When the last virtual machine in a deployment is stopped, Windows Azure automatically stops the deployment container. Virtual machines in a stopped deployment cannot be started until the deployment is started.

    Workaround: From the diagram view of the virtual machine, right-click on Deployment and then click Start. Once the deployment is started the virtual machine can be started.
