i am having a dell 3542 laptop which came with pre-installed windows 8.1. For some reason i wanted to install windows 7 ultimate. For that i have to change my hard disk system from GPT to MBR and i did so. In this process i also have to use "clean"
command in command prompt which means cleaning all data from the hard disk. In this way i lost my windows 8.1. After all i succeeded to install windows 7 ultimate. But windows 7 was hanging a little bit in my laptop so i finally decided to get back to windows
8.1. For that i decided to restore it from a backup which i made using dell and backup recovery software and accidentally i used it with factory restore and it restored my laptop to factory setting including it changed my hard disk from GPT to MBR . Due to
it i am unable to install windows 7 again and i am not having any copy of windows 8.1. i had already tried to install linux mint 17.1 and kali linux but installation setup fails every time. What i can do now?Any help???
