Host Integration Server TIConversionTool Strong Name HowTo? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to upgrade my system from HIS 2004 to HIS 2010. For windows initiated programs i am using TLBs and now i converted these TLBs to .NET dll by using TIConversionTool. But this new dll is not strongly named. But my application requires all libraries to be signed.

Is there a way to create this .net dll with strong names? In 2004 i used TLBimp.exe and it has a keyfile option to sign the assembly, but i cannot find any option in HIS 2010.

    Best Regards.

  • The TIConversionTool does not include an option to sign the TI NET assembly as part fo the conversion process. The way to do this would be to use the method that Steve outlined in his response or to go into the Designer to sign the assembly.

    Thanks...
