Do MS developers know what threads are? RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Explorer stops responding when accessing a slow network. Windows are locked in place for hours on a desktop while some background task takes place. Explorer takes minutes to 'cancel' an operation. Things like opening large apps like Outlook as well.

Background worker threads. Use them for Windows 8. Fire anyone who can't understand. Thanks.
