Prevent recipients from copy/paste/forward etc? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi guys, hope I jumped into the correct forum.

We are running Office 365 and we have heard about the possibility to prevent email recipients to copy/paste/forward etc.

    1) What service is handling this? (a brief search pointed towards RMS...) Is this part of the Azure Information Protection?

    2) Is it configured within the Azure Portal or the new Security and Compliance Center?

    3) Does the end-user choose this option within Outlook? Does it work in Outlook 2013, 2016, 2019, Outlook Web, Outlook mobile, iOS and Android native mail apps?

    4) What kind of license does the sender and recipient have to have? E3 +EMS / E5 + EMS?

    5) Does this also work for messages sent to recipients running Gmail, Exchange Online or other email server software?
