Inability to call out or receive calls RRS feed

  • I have been using the same Skype business account and number for years. Recently, after updating, I lost the ability to call out or receive calls. I didn't change any settings. The bill is paid and I received an email to that effect.

    When I call out, the system immediately shows a Missed Call from the number I was trying to reach. This happened every time I tried for the last week.

    When I tried to call my business Skype number from my personal phone, Skype said I was unavailable and the only option I had was to leave a voicemail.

    Any suggestions?

    Does anyone else have the same issue?

    Can you hear ringing when you make outgoing calls?

    We recommend you clear the client cache and try again. Here are the detailed steps:

    1. Please right click the Windows icon and open the Run bar.

    2. Then type in: %localappdata%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Lync\

    3. Delete the sip profile folder.

    4. Go into the Tracing folder, delete all files, but not the folders.
