    HTTP Error 500.24 - Internal Server Error An ASP.NET setting has been detected that does not apply in Integrated managed pipeline mode.

    Im not sure why Im getting this now.  I am tring to up date the URL to be friendly.  I took all the appropriate steps: import cert, apply cert in bindings, create DNS record, update alternate access mappings, update content host urls in app settings and web.config.  

    The site worked fine before, now I get this error.

    i ended re-installing IIS which I dot recommend because that resulted in re-installing SharePoint.  This did not fix the friendly URL issue.  I have a working site now, but only by FQDN of the site server.  SharePoint does not recognize the alternate URL even though it is applied in the AAM settings and there is a DNS record.  I'll make another post for that.
