Dual monitor setup issue - Both monitors detected but 2nd screen Is blank/black RRS feed

  • I recently bought a new monitor to my PC... and i have a big problem.

    I connected 2 monitors to my graphic card: Geforce gtx 1050.
    One with HDMI and the 2nd one with a DVI adapter. 
    They both detected by the computer but the 2nd monitor is blank/black.

    My monitor that is not working is a Samsung s24f350

    When i plugin the hdmi to the 2nd monitor he displayed but with the dvi he is only detected and not displaying...

  • One coul R.click on desktop/personalize/adapter settings/Nvidia control panel/edit for 2 monitors..Also,get youre Nvidia software/drivers from GeForce.com.Also,correct the pc needs Nvidia software/drivers,but more needed is

    the pc hardware drivers.1st should be the Chipset Software-Driver,then storage controller/etc the Chipset driver enables the OS to run Video/Audio/Networking etc.Get those from pc mfg,or pc hardware mfg (Intel/AMD/etc)...

    Thanks for posting your query.

    As your description above, it seems that the issue is caused by DVI adapter.

    Try to change a new adapter and check if the issue disappeared.
