Upgrading System Center DPM 2012 to 2012 SP1 RRS feed

  • Question

  • My company is only using the following programs from Microsoft System Center 2012: Data Protection Manager, Operations Manager, and Virtual Machine Manager. Each one was installed as an individual install on the same server. We need to upgrade DPM to 2012 with SP1 to accommodate some Windows 2012 servers that were added to the environment. My question is this, can we use the new ISO's we have downloaded from MSDN that is System Center 2012 DPM w SP1? or do we need to download SP1 separately. Also, do we need to update the other two System Center installs at the same time as well?

Let me know if this is the right forum and thank you in advance for your help.

  • Hi there

You can download SP1 directly from Technet, looks like a full install or use your ISO's you have, it should say SP1 when you run the install/update:-), you can update DPM then you can do SCOM and VMM.

    Cheers
