SharePoint 2007 - User losing info in documents RRS feed

  • Hello,

    We have few users who have raised an issue that they are losing information in excel/word documents that have been uploaded to SharePoint library.  The versioning is ON and the clients have to Check-out the documents before working.  We are using Office 2010 and the SharePoint version is 2007.  Any ideas?

  • Can you ask them to check their upload manager? Office 2010 added an upload manager that can sometimes queue uploads. Versions occasionally vanish into this. Its an orange icon on the bottom right of the system tray.
