  • Hello,

I post here the issued i posted on microsoft anwsers because Vijay, an Independent Advisor tell me to do that to increace my chances to have anwser so that's it.

If you set my account to verified, i'll modify my post.

And this is the text of my original post :

I have a problem with sound on my windows 10 (64bit)

Here is a video showing the problem: video

As you can see, the sounds sometimes jump, it is more and more present, even on my other devices (the sounds that pass through a cable jack, a usb headset, my screens (in hdmi as in displayport)) as well as on all software (VLC, Spotify, Navigator)

Here is a graph of the latency:

This problem occurred after installing the required dependencies on visual studio 2017. The individual components are as follows:

As well as the list of installed software:

Here is what the command sfc/scannnow gives me

I have tried all the solutions available here  and all pages from here

I also posed my problem on the Microsoft discord community, but no solution.

I installed these dependencies originally to compile unreal engine4 following this tutorial

That's why I also posted my question on this forum

  • I doubt that your problems have anything to do with the .NET framework.

But from your screenshot you are using storahci.sys, the generic driver from Microsoft.
You should install the manufacturer driver.
see DPC Latency for a similar issue.

I did not choose to use storahci.sys, i only installed realtek audio driver, my platronic rig 500 driver, and the nvidia driver to run my devices (two 4k screen that get sound via hdmi and displayport, one jack port from my motherboard, and my usb platronic rig 500)

Everything worked fine before i start to compile ue4.

What should i do to set again my audio to use my manufacturer driver ? (since it is not uninstall..)

  • Hello, after installing the AMD ryzen master (driver  for my ryzen 2700x) the problem seems to be solved, thanks for your help.
