itunes ipad registration RRS feed

  • I am trying to register my ipad and keep getting "itunes stopped working" message.  I have purchased music from the website with no problem...this just pops up when i connect ipad and click "register".  Has anyone else had this problem?  I tried uninstalling then reinstalling itunes, per apple tech.  I have Dell inspiron 1720 with windows vista.
