I'm very beginner to the Windows server 2008 r2. I need some tutorials how to achieve MAC ADDRESS FILTERING in windows server 2008 r2. I tried configuring it with DHCP server but i couldn't able to configure it. so kindly help me with some tutorials how to do MAC ADDRESS FILTERING.... i need tutorials for baby..thank you in advance.Saturday, January 28, 2012 7:11 AM

1- start - Administrative tools- DHCP consol
2- right click in IPV4
3- check box on Enable Allow List (and - or) Enable Deny List
4- go to DHCP consol again and expand your scop - expand Filters -
5- right Allow or Deny - New Filter - then add MAC address

Thanks for posting here.
Since we are new to the Windows Server world then I’d suggest to first create a basic sample Windows network with following the guides in the link below:
Test Lab Guides for Solutions
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg314534(WS.10).aspx
Once we set this environment up then we can set the MAC address filter on Windows Server 2008 R2 DHCP server with following the introductions that mentioned by Abdelhamid:

I have some question here...
in my dhcp console (IPV4 Properties) doesn't have Filter options... how I can get those options..
my Server OS is Windows Server 2008 R2 SP2 DataCentre Edition..
